How to Change Your MTN Transfer PIN
- First, change the default PIN (0000) before giving phone money.
- Send a text to 321 like this: “0000 1234 1234”.
- Or dial 321000012341234# on your phone and press send.
- You can also change your PIN by dialing *321*Default PIN*New PIN*New PIN# on your phone and then pressing send/ok. For instance, dial *321*0000*1234*1234# followed by send/OK.
- You’ll get a text saying your new PIN is ready!
How to Transfer Airtime Using SMS
- Send a text to 321 like: “Transfer 08031234567 1500 1234”.
- They’ll ask if you’re sure. Text ‘YES’ to 321.
- Your phone money goes to your friend. Easy!
Transfer Airtime Using USSD
- Dial *321*Recipient’s Number*Amount*PIN#.
- Like this: Dial *321*08031234567*1500*1234# and then send/OK.
- You’re done! They’ll text you that it worked.

- You can give between NGN50.00 and NGN5,000.00 at once.
- You can give up to NGN50,000.00 in a day, with no limit on times.
