About NaijaCoder Summer Coding Program 2024
NaijaCoder, a research and education institute with locations in the U.S. and Nigeria, conducts a significant summer program in Nigeria tailored for high school students. This intensive program offers complimentary instruction in fundamental algorithms and computer programming. The upcoming session is scheduled for Summer 2024!
Many Nigerian high school students lack exposure to fundamental algorithms and programming. NaijaCoder is committed to altering this trend, as programming can equip these students, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds, with valuable skills and kindle their interest in problem-solving and critical thinking.
The program offers complimentary instruction in fundamental computer programming. NaijaCoder, Inc.’s overarching objective is to promote early science education in the Global South, beginning in Nigeria. The majority of the NaijaCoder board members are alumni of EducationUSA from Abuja, Nigeria. The upcoming NaijaCoder summer camp is scheduled for August 2024.
Eligibility
Any middle or high school student in Nigeria is eligible to apply.
Application Information
This is the application for enrollment in NaijaCoder’s summer coding program in August 2024. The first-round application deadline is January 31, 2024. Notification of application status will be sent to successful applicants by March 2024.
