Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the International Graduate Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Completed 16 years of education (for master’s degree applicants) or nearing completion before enrollment.
- International students from countries with diplomatic ties to Japan.
- Born on or after 2 April 1987.
- Applied for a study field related to their previous university or a related discipline.
- Need a Bachelor’s Degree (for master’s) or a completed Master’s Degree (for Ph.D.).
- Non-native English speakers can provide an English Proficiency Certificate for language exemption.
- Scholarship open to all nationalities, covering master’s, Ph.D., and combined programs.
How to Apply for International Graduate Scholarship 2023-2024
The application process involves the steps below:
- Contact Intended Supervisor: Connect with a potential supervisor, sharing your CV and relevant papers to secure a lab spot.
- Submit Acceptance Letter: Share the acceptance letter with the Admission Office for an online application link.
- Prepare Documents: Gather required files including ID photo, Tokyo Tech faculty consent email, study details, thesis summary, English Proficiency Score, passport, transcripts, degree certificate, and recommendation letters.
- Complete Online Application: Access the application form at https://www.titech.ac.jp/english/admissions, fill comprehensively, and submit documents.
